Nueve is home :')
Hello everyone!!
YAY EXAMS ARE OVER! JUST KIDDING! but the next paper is next wednesday and today shall be a nua day before i start studying for the last paper tmr :)
Anw, so i was trying to settle some fin con stuff for nueve and i was really fighting hard. Then suddenly it struck me why was i so willing to do stuff for nueve without any complains when i could complain about a million things when it comes to the zei club. I am pretty sure if this is the case for the zei club i will be cursing and swearing and complaining to every single human being alive on earth. But i am more than happy to do my fin con duties even though i obviously like designing more than handling money issues. Why?
Perharps there was a part of me being eager to prove my worth when everyone questioned my ability to take up two roles on top of my cheer commitments. Perhaps i was eager because i would be dealing with one of the rare human on earth that i really dislike. Then i realise, all these are really so much minor compared to the actual reason - nueve is my home.
I made my most treasured group of friends in uni from Nueve, the first and the best camp i ever attended in my life. They are the group of friends that i would never ever want to lose even though sometimes i may be busy dating and has little time for them. i may be bad at time management but pls dun mistaken my absence for my lack of love for you all and dont forget about me nor exclude me because i would be really sad :/
I joined back Nueve back as part of the family because it really feels good to be back in a committee full of my OMAHA people where we can go back to the days we enjoyed so much during camp when we first entered uni for the third year. It was frustrating me when there was a period of time when SH kept asking if i could handle the commitment because the chairman was asking. I simply replied " i joined nueve is really to help you, if you trust me, give me the role. if not i am fine with it". He said he was gan dong which wasnt my goal but what i really meant was "if you trust me as a friend, i will be more than willing to help". I truly am. i didnt join nueve to prove to anyone, nor to build up for a portfolio which i am not even slightest interested in. I really joined because i never felt so willing to do something simply for my most treasured group of friends.
The thing different about doing things for friends and with friends is that there is no stress and they appreciate you. you simply felt like putting in the best effort for them and its not an obligation but a want.
